These stories will range anywhere from YA to sensual and will always recognize that the characters and plot are the focal point of the story. Both the emotions of the hero and heroine and their physical feelings are important. Authors writing in this genre include Catherine Coulter, J.D. Robb, Leanne Banks, Stephanie Laurens, Lisa Kleypas, and Sherrilyn Kenyon.

The important requirements are that the protagonists be likeable people who overcome some obstacle to find true romance. Your story must be authentic and believable for its time period, and must have a happy and satisfying ending. A touch of intrigue would be a plus.
What We’re NOT Looking For:
Please no stories that are “burning hot.” No extremely explicit sensuality or stories that might be considered "romantica," a hybrid between erotica and romance. On the other hand we do not want stories that are “Kisses only.” Stories will have to be more than simply "sweet." Aim for that warm, romantic sweet spot.
